Heuristic Therapeutic Services is an outpatient mental health practice in Maryland with two programs. Our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) offers diagnostic evaluations, individual, group and family therapy, and medication management. Our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) helps people living with mental illness build the skills they need to live more independently in their community.
Who do you serve, and do you offer care in Spanish?
We serve children, adolescents and adults. Our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic offers care in English and Spanish, provided by a board-certified psychiatrist and licensed clinical professionals. We help with life challenges, relationship issues, behavioral issues with a child or teen, depression, anxiety, trauma and persistent mental illness.
What insurance do you accept?
Our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) accepts Maryland Medicaid, CareFirst, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna. Self-pay is also accepted, and a sliding scale is available. Our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) accepts Maryland Medicaid and self-pay. If you have questions about your coverage, please call our office before your first visit.

We have two offices in Maryland. The Germantown office is at 19707 Executive Park Circle, Germantown, MD 20874, phone (301) 250-9965. The Silver Spring office is at 11510 Georgia Ave, Suite 206, Silver Spring, MD 20902, phone (301) 900-5722. Both are open Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and evening visits are by appointment only.
